In addition, the performance capabilities have been enhanced by power and suspension upgrades. All-wheel drive is now the standard drivetrain for all trims. For 2022, the trim lineup has also been revisited. Eight trims are offered: the S, the Select, the Preferred, the Carbon Edition, the Premium, the Premium Plus, the Turbo, and the Turbo Signature.
2022 MAZDA CX-5 2.5 S
The S trim has a 187-horsepower, 2.5-liter, four-cylinder engine. This is paired with a six-speed auto transmission. The exterior of the Mazda CX-5 S is outfitted with 17-inch alloy wheels and LED headlights. Inside, you will find a 10.25-inch infotainment system screen, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and a push-button starter. Standard driver’s aids in the S are forward collision mitigation, rear cross-traffic alert, blind-spot monitoring, lane-departure mitigation, and adaptive cruise control.
