With three rows of seating, unforgettable style, and a great mix of modern features, the 2023 Mazda CX-9 is the midsize crossover that may be at the top of your list. Mazda made only a couple of important updates to the Mazda CX-9 for the 2023 model year. Specifically, it deleted the Sport trim, which was the base-level option. It also removed the Touring Premium package. This leaves five trims: the Touring, Touring Plus, Carbon Edition, Grand Touring, and Signature.
The athletic yet sophisticated exterior of the Mazda CX-9 is unchanged. The Mazda CX-9 has prominent dimensions with subtle curves across the profile. The sides have a hint of smooth undulation with a crisp, angled accent on the lower panels. Chrome lines the entire lower perimeter of the Mazda CX-9. At the front, this Mazda crossover has a wide, U-shaped grille that touches the LED bar above the headlights. Some or all trims have heated and power-folding side mirrors, a sunroof, rain-sensing windshield wipers with a de-icer, a hands-free liftgate, roof rails, and other items.
All of the 2023 Mazda CX-9 trims offer the same driving experience. They are loaded with a 227-horsepower, four-cylinder, 2.5-liter engine. All trims also come with a six-speed auto transmission and all-wheel drive.
