Power and Performance

Mazda is known for its sporty performance gear and powerful ride, and the 2018 Mazda6 is no exception. Its SKYACTIV-G® 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine now features cylinder deactivation to help you save on fuel costs. As you travel between 25 and 50 mph, two cylinders shut off. When you want to speed things up, all cylinders switch back on. Drivers won’t even notice that this technology is at work. This year, the Mazda6 offers a new turbocharged SKYACTIV-G® 2.5-liter engine. Its 227 horsepower and 310 pound-feet of torque give you an extra burst of speed as you get up to highway speeds or pass slower traffic. The 2018 Ford Fusion doesn’t offer cylinder deactivation. But, when you upgrade to the top-trim Titanium, you’ll enjoy turbocharged power, with a 2.0-liter engine that kicks out 240 horses and 270 pound-feet of torque.

Rich Interior Comfort

If you’re looking for a mid-size sedan with a stylish cabin, look no further than the 2018 Mazda6. The cabin is home to newly redesigned seats that improve comfort and support. All models come with a new dash, featuring elegant trim and a low vertical profile for a more luxurious look. This year, its new top-trim Signature model gives you European-level luxury without the hefty price tag. Inside, you’ll find upgraded leather upholstery for a swanky ride to work. The ventilated front seats are the cure for a hot day. The Signature’s high-quality materials, including microfiber suede and wood trim, are the icing on the cake.

Modern Technology

Regarding infotainment, convenience, and high-tech safety, the 2018 Mazda6 is the way to go. This mid-size sedan’s new dash design makes controls easy to reach. Every model gets an 8-inch touchscreen. The standard infotainment system features Bluetooth, a USB port, and a six-speaker sound system. The Mazda6 also comes standard with street-savvy tech features, such as blind-spot monitoring and a rearview camera, to help you stay on your toes. The mid-grade Touring model gives you the convenience you crave, with proximity keyless entry and automatic wipers. On the top-trim Signature, you’ll find LED interior lighting and a digital gauge cluster. The Signature’s surround-view camera system, with front and rear parking sensors, help you ease into a parallel parking space with precision.
